Peoria, Illinois - Passenger Traffic Climbs: The Airport Authority Board of Commissioners are pleased to release the Airport's statistics for April 2002, which shows a continual increase of passenger traffic from the Greater Peoria Regional Airport. Current stats show GPRA is up 7.38% over April 2002; while year-to-date figures for 2002 show GPRA passenger traffic is up 5.19% compared to 2001.

Mary DeVries, Interim Director stated, "we are pleased that central Illinois travelers have chosen to fly Peoria...and we continue to make travel safer, easier and more pleasant than ever before by listening to what the travelers suggest, and by taking action, as our stats are proof of our success!"
