Central Illinois Travelers Continue To FLY PIA!
Peoria, Illinois - Air travelers continue to fly from Peoria as the Greater Peoria Regional Airport provides numerous features that have proven to make for "hassle free travel."
According to Interim Director Mary DeVries, "GPRA statistics for May 2002 show a continued increase in passenger traffic. Year-to-Date figures for 2002 show passenger traffic is up 5.58% compared to 2001. With changes in air schedules to better meet the needs of air travelers, update in fleet equipment, improved customer service, Terminal renovations, free parking and shuttle service have all attributed to the success of the Greater Peoria Regional Airport."
The Airport Authority Board and staff thank all those who have chosen to FLY PEORIA, and we will continue to strive to provide central Illinois travelers with a first class airport and more flights and options than ever before.
