To celebrate Delta Connection/ASA's first anniversary in Peoria, it will host a "Passenger Appreciation Day" on Thursday, August 1st and have available on the concourse by Gate 1, refreshments for its passengers.

Mary DeVries, Interim Director of Airports commented, "GPRA has held strong since 9-11, and central Illinois travelers continue to fly PEORIA, as year-to-date 2002 passener traffic is UP 5.85% compared to last year."
