AmericanConnection Adds Two New Flights In Peoria Starting September 2002

*Carrier Increases Connections to East and West Coast Destinations from Peoria*

Saint Louis, MO - Trans States Airlines/AmericanConnection announced today the airline would add two new flights to and from Peoria starting September 4, 2002. The new flights will depart Greater Peoria Regional Airport at 11:45 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. utilizing 30-seat Jetstream-41 aircraft.

The two new additional flights will increase seating capacity to/from Peoria by over 18 percent. Under the new weekday schedule, AmericanConnection flights will depart from Peoria each business day at 5:50 a.m., 7:28 a.m., 8:48 a.m., 10:35 a.m., 11:54 a.m., 2:59 p.m., 4:31 p.m., 5:58 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. From St. Louis, flights will depart each business day at 7:30 a.m., 8:58 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 1:41 p.m., 3:12 p.m., 4:36 p.m., 6:26 p.m., 7:55 p.m., and 9:26 p.m.

According to William R. Mishk, Vice President, Marketing/Planning, "Our new service additions to Peoria will provide increased connecting opportunities to top east and west coast cities such as Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Washington and New York."

To further enhance air service options and make your tavel hassle free the Airport Authority also provides amenities such as free parking, free shuttle service to/from the parking lot to the Terminal, and a new baggage delivery system."

Trans States Airlines, a large regional airline serving the Midwest and Eastern U.S. employs over 1,200 aviation professionals with service to 39 cities and more than 280 daily flights. Trans States is also the recipient of the Federal Aviation Administration's Certificate of Excellence Diamond Award four years in a row.
