Peoria, Illinois - The Greater Peoria Airport Authority and Mrs. Shelia Tenbrook, owner of the Airport Gift Shop are excited to announce the "Grand Opening" of the newly relocated gift shop at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport. The "Grand Opening" is scheduled to take place March 13, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. in the main lobby of the Air Terminal.

According to Mrs. Tenbrook, "after months of planning, I am excited to offer the passengers and customers of central Illinois, and employees of the airport a more visible and readily accessible gift shop that offers a wide variety of quality merchandise, snack foods/beverages, and traveling supplies at affordable prices."

Besides the relocation of the gift shop, Mrs. Tenbrook has decided to rename her facility, and has asked the 4th grade class of Elmwood Grade School to submit entries for a new name. Mrs. Tenbrook will unveil the new lighted signage depicting a new name with a new logo, while announcing the 4th graders who had submitted the winning name.

Director Balraj reported, "the Airport Authority couldn't be more happy with the new look of the Airport Gift Shop, as numerous passenger comments attest to the way Mrs. Tenbrook and her staff display customer service."

The "Grand Opening" is open to the public, and refreshments will be available. Hope to see all of you there!
