Now the Official Airline for Sunshine Offers Nonstop Service to Both Orlando and Las Vegas
(Peoria, Ill., March 30, 2005)- Allegiant Air, LLC today announced new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from Peoria, Ill. The self-proclaimed "Official Airline for Sunshine" will launch the new scheduled service from Greater Peoria Regional Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport with complete vacation packages including air, hotel and car rental starting as low as $261** for three nights, per person based on double occupancy.
"We are extremely pleased to expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop, jet service to Orlando," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only scheduled nonstop service between Peoria and Orlando."

Along with Allegiant's current serve to the Las Vegas area, travelers can fly nonstop to one of the top destinations in the U.S. and still not pay for parking at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport!"
The airline said that its strong demand from current customers and input from local community leaders indicates that the Peoria area will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Orlando as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.
"This new service to Orlando, with its wonderful attractions, should be a huge hit with the families of our area as well as the business traveler who is heading to Central Florida for meetings" said Congressman Ray LaHood. "I salute Allegiant for their commitment to Peoria and their foresight in expanding service at the airport. I also commend the folks at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport who work tirelessly to bring new service and destinations to the flying public."
"Quality air service is essential for economic progress; it means jobs, access to major markets and tourism," U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin said. "Adding this new non-stop flight between Orlando and Peoria gives central Illinois travelers more options and greater flexibility. Allegiant is to be commended for adding another popular vacation destination to the Greater Peoria Regional Airport's portfolio."
