Air Show Dates and Line-up Announced for 2005
PEORIA, IL Eagle Radio Prairie Air Show announced the line-up for their 2005 air show. The dates of this year’s show are August 6th – 7th at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport. The show will feature the Army Aviation Demonstration Team and is titled “Pride on the Prairie.”
The theme of this year’s show will honor the veterans of today, tomorrow and yesterday, while celebrating the 30th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam conflict.
Other featured performers will be John Mohr, Clyde Zellars, Skip Stewart, Eric Beard, Scott Shockley, the Black Daggers and air show super-star Jimmy Franklin. Their will also be exciting static displays, including the C-5 Galaxy and the KC-135, food and fun for the entire family.
Funds raised by Eagle Radio Prairie Air Show will benefit many Peoria area not-for-profit organizations as well as the Prairie Aviation Museum and its Challenger Learning Center. The Challenger Learning is located in Bloomington, IL, but serves all towns within a 60 mile radius, including Peoria and the surrounding areas.
