Community Showcase Highlights Local and Regional Businesses
Airport Advertising Gets Make-Over, New Murals Portray Region’s Attractions
(Peoria, Ill.) — Local and regional businesses and advertisers will get a unique opportunity to reach visitors to the Greater Peoria Regional Airport through the new Advertising and Community Showcase Program, announced today by the Greater Peoria Regional Airport Authority.
Developed and managed by Interspace Airport Advertising, the program features industry exclusive technology displays and community wall murals designed to create a sense of place within the airport terminal, while providing an effective vehicle for targeted advertising messages. Advertisers will reach more than half a million people annually.
“By highlighting the diverse businesses and attractions of the region, the Airport will serve as a warm welcome for visitors, and as a medium for enhancing a feeling of community pride,” says Jim Miller of Interspace. “What better way to invest in the economic future of the Peoria area than by showcasing your business at the welcome portal for the region?”
The Greater Peoria Regional Airport will be the fourth airport in North America to benefit from Interspace’s state-of-the-art display technology. The company is the premiere airport advertising firm in the industry. Its programs serve as the catalyst for promoting community support for local airports.
“We are excited about this new program as we continue to enhance the experience of the traveler through Central Illinois’ preferred airport,” says Airport Director, Solomon Balraj. “Not only will area businesses find the Airport a wonderful place and way to promote their business, this program will promote the community with wonderful pictorials from the Peoria and Tri-County area.”
