Passenger Appreciation Day

Peoria, IL — On November 23rd, the Greater Peoria Regional Airport (“GPRA”) will host a “Passenger Appreciation Day.” As the week of Thanksgiving is our busiest travel season, the Airport Authority is excited to give back to the airport’s supporters by providing free coffee and cookies, which will be located in front of the Information Booth on the first floor of the Air Terminal Building.

Mary DeVries, Interim Director of Airports acknowledged, “The loads during the Thanksgiving Holiday will average 1,800/+ passengers daily traveling to/from Peoria.” With continued growth, addition of enhancement features, and an outpouring of support from central Illinois travelers, the Airport anticipates reaching a milestone of over 500,000 passengers for 2005, so stay tuned for final numbers to be revealed in January.

If you’re interested in finding out more about GPRA and the many amenities available, please visit our website at www.flypia.com. Again, thank you for your continued support!
