ASA/Delta Connection Celebrates Five Years in Peoria

Peoria, IL August 1, 2006 – Atlantic Southeast Airlines/Delta Connection (ASA/Delta) is celebrating five years of service at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport. ASA/Delta inaugurated non-stop jet service to Atlanta from Peoria on August 1, 2001. “Today marks a five year partnership with one of the best airlines in the world. ASA/Delta is an important link to the world for our business and leisure customers in the Greater Peoria area,” said Director of Airports Ken Spirito.

ASA/Delta provides Peoria customers non-stop jet service to Atlanta offering connections to over 290 cities on Delta Air Lines and its partner airlines. “The Greater Peoria area enjoys having the Delta Air Line product serving Atlanta. We will continue to work with ASA and Delta Air Lines to offer the best service and more choices for our customers,” said Airport Authority Chairman Dean Heinzmann.

Currently, ASA/Delta Connection offers three daily round trip flights from Peoria to Atlanta.
