(Peoria, Ill.)— Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, LLC today announces new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from Peoria, Ill. beginning Nov. 16, 2007. The low-fare carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to the Sunshine State, with introductory fares as low as $59* each way, when booked at www.allegiantair.com.

The self-proclaimed "Official Airline for Sunshine" will launch the new scheduled service from the Greater Peoria Regional Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport with complete vacation packages including roundtrip air and three-night hotel stay for as low as $184**. (Price is per person, based on three-night hotel stay at the Rodeway Inn-Maingate, double occupancy and reflects a Friday arrival and Monday departure through Dec. 19.)

"We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service to the greater Peoria community," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop, air service between Peoria and Orlando."

"We are very excited that Allegiant Air has decided to bring back the Orlando/Sanford service," Ken Spirito, Director of Airports, said. "Allegiant Air's success in Peoria and in Central Illinois will continue to grow as Allegiant adds more seats and more destinations in Peoria."

As the only low-cost carrier providing air service between Peoria and the Sunshine State, Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route. The airline said its market research and input from local more community leaders indicate that the greater Peoria community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Orlando as an alternative to connecting flights and long drives to other airports.
