Northwest Airlines Begins Jet Service Between Detroit and Peoria
EAGAN, Minn. —Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced that daily nonstop service between its Detroit WorldGateway hub and the Greater Peoria Regional Airport begins today. Flight 3786 departed Detroit two minutes early at 3:32 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and arrived in Peoria, Ill. 12 minutes early at 3:58 p.m. local time today.
The current Northwest schedule includes two daily roundtrip flights between Detroit and the Greater Peoria Regional Airport, which will complement the three daily flights Northwest currently offers between Peoria and its Minneapolis/St. Paul hub. The addition of Peoria brings to 154 the number of destinations served from Northwest’s WorldGateway hub at Detroit.

The service is operated by Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines using Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) aircraft, which seat 50 passengers.
