Airport Parking
Parking at the Peoria International Airport is free in the general parking areas, regardless of the length of your trip. Leave your car in the main lot, North of the Terminal, or in the Satellite lot to the west of the terminal (indicated in blue on the map). For the safety of your vehicle and all travelers, please do not park anywhere in the grass unless the lot is full and signs indicate.
For your convenience, we offer metered spaces immediately across from the passenger drop off area. These spaces are intended for visitors picking up or dropping off passengers or doing business at the airport for less than 2 hours.
Make travel one step simpler by joining PIA’s Premier Lot. This offers, gated parking, closest to the West entrance of the terminal. NOTE: As of 2025, there is a waiting list for Premier Parking Passes. You can add your name to the list, but it may take several months before you are able to secure a pass. If you do not renew your pass within your allotted time frame, your will lose your pass. If you wish to renew and your membership has lapsed, your name will need to go on the list.
Marked lanes are provided under the covered awning directly in front of terminal doors. We ask you not leave your car unattended in this area. If you to park and enter the terminal, we wish you to use the metered parking provided in close proximity.
Our drivers are happy to transport you in our Free Shuttle Bus from your car to the terminal, and back. The service operates from 4:30am to 11:00pm
The pick-up location for CityLink buses is located at parking shelter F-1 in the Main parking lot. Information for the bus route can be found at #7 John Gwynn – CityLink | Greater Peoria Mass Transit District

FALL PARKING ALERT! As we experience large numbers of passengers as we begin Fall Breaks and the Holiday Travel Season, our Main Lot and Overflow lots are filling or are full. We continue to monitor our parking lots daily and will advise you where our largest capacity is – please check the construction sign at the entrance to see where we are directing you. If our lots are FULL, we will create supplemental parking and advise accordingly.
Arrive EARLY – 2 hours is suggested!
Be prepared to look for a spot, we installed a sign as you enter that will tell you which lot is open!

Beginning April 14, 2025, construction traffic will begin on Phase 1 of the new Air Traffic Control Tower.
Construction will take place for 1 year, immediately followed by Phase 2, which will take an additional year.
For the duration of the project, the main terminal drive will be reduced to one lane between the Old Tower and the merge to Dirksen Parkway. In this section of roadway, outbound traffic will use the left lane, and construction traffic will use the right lane. This is to allow consturction traffic access to the work site (as shown in the map below).
